Bienvenidos a la sección de Primaria del British International School, donde los alumnos potencian sus habilidades, desarrollan su autoestima y disfrutan aprendiendo.
Es nuestro principal objetivo, junto con los padres, acompañar a los niños en su desarrollo integral, ayudándoles a alcanzar el éxito escolar y en la vida fuera del aula.
En la sección de primaria buscamos brindar una estructura completa en esta etapa, creando las bases necesarias para continuar en secundaria y cumplir con el perfil del alumno IB.
The Primary curriculum is based on the guidelines of the UK National Curriculum, the Cambridge International Primary Programme and the Ministry of Education’s National Curriculum. These three curricular programmes work together to provide a complete structure at this stage, accompanying them in their all-round education. In addition, our Social Behaviour and Character Counts programmes work together to provide a complete structure at this stage, creating the foundations necessary to continue on to secondary school and meet the IB learner profile.
Curriculum
Our students, throughout this stage, are educated in subjects that follow and comply with the whole of the UK curriculum. However, it is key for us to include in their education, those areas that are core and are clearly implemented in the Colombian curriculum. With all of this together, we manage to provide an excellent quality education where in Year 6, students are able to sit their international exams.
Los exámenes Cambridge Primary Checkpoint son los primeros de una serie de exámenes internacionales ofrecidos por el British International School en etapas críticas del proceso de desarrollo de los niños. Estas evaluaciones estandarizadas nos permiten medir el aprendizaje de nuestros alumnos a nivel internacional.
