Social Behaviour
The Social Behaviour programme at the British International School is one of the two fundamental pillars of our educational proposal, which is complemented by the academic approach. This programme has as its primary objective the creation and development of the future national leadership class, endowed with the human, personal and social interaction requirements and characteristics necessary to face the challenges of contemporary society.
At the British International School, we believe that education is not only limited to the acquisition of academic knowledge, but also involves the cultivation of social and emotional skills that enable our students to function effectively and ethically in a variety of environments. That is why the Social Behaviour programme is at the heart of our educational approach.
Our students are called to assume, according to their position and roles, an integral formation that transcends the merely academic. We provide them with the necessary tools to become cultured, distinguished and socially responsible people. We foster in them values such as respect, tolerance, empathy, honesty and responsibility, which are the fundamental pillars for harmonious coexistence and active participation in society.
Through various activities, programmes and projects inside and outside the classroom, we seek to promote the development of social and emotional skills in our students. We encourage them to participate in community service activities, cultural events, debates, student leadership and collaborative projects that allow them to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds, thus fostering intercultural understanding and openness to the world.
In short, the Social Behaviour programme at British International School focuses on developing our students as ethical and committed leaders, providing them with a solid foundation of values and social skills that will enable them to excel both personally and professionally. We are committed to nurturing their intellectual, emotional and social skills, preparing them to face the challenges of today’s world and become responsible and respected global citizens.
