Institutional governmental organisation
The school government is mainly composed of the school board, the academic council and the rector, but other participatory bodies such as the student council, parent council and parent association are also established.
This is a high-level body whose function is to participate in the pedagogical orientation of the institution. It is convened and chaired by the rector. The academic council shall be composed of:
It is the highest collegiate body that ensures and guarantees the continuous exercise of participation by students. Its functions are defined in Article 29 of Decree 1860 of 1994.
Está integrado por un estudiante de cada uno de los grados desde Year 5 hasta Year 13, quienes son elegidos dentro de las cuatro primeras semanas del calendario académico mediante votación secreta en sendas asambleas integradas por los estudiantes que cursen cada grado. In accordance with Law 1620 of 2013 and Decree 1965 of 2013, the institution establishes the formation of the school coexistence committee, responsible for supporting the work of promoting and monitoring school coexistence, education for the exercise of human, sexual and reproductive rights, as well as the development and implementation of the coexistence manual and the prevention and mitigation of school violence.
Parents' Association
The parents’ association is a legal entity under private law, non-profit-making, which is constituted by the free and voluntary decision of the parents or guardians of the students enrolled in the institution who make the contribution suggested by the parents’ association.
Parent's Council
As an organ of the Parents’ Association, the Parents’ Council ensures the continuous participation of parents or guardians in the pedagogical process of the School. It is made up of the spokespersons of the parents or guardians of the pupils in each of the grades offered by the school. Two spokespersons are elected for each grade, from Nursery to Eleventh Grade, who are elected by majority vote at the Parents’ Meeting for each grade during the first month of classes.

Parents' Parliament
This advisory and support group is made up of one parent volunteer elected from each level, chaired by the rector, with the support of the academic secretary. This group meets once a month and is focused on proposing solutions to general school problems and concerns in a structured and productive environment. Members of the parliament then work on project-based initiatives to address school concerns under the guidance of the principal’s office.
This group replaces Coffee Mornings and encourages parents to speak to the respective parent parliament member at their level if they wish to have them discuss any issues or concerns.
