Aware of the importance of sport in the lives of our students, I rely on physical education professionals in front of not only the academic classes of this important subject, but also they are in charge of training the different sports teams of our institution.

During the physical education classes, the students are oriented by specialist teachers in the sports of: basketball, baseball or softball, dance, football, gymnastics and volleyball; our pedagogical strategies are: a) the sports rotation system in the preschool and primary grades, so that in high school, they can choose the sport in which they wish to deepen (with the option to change at the end of the bimester or MYP cycle), b ) The conformation of groups according to the levels of skill or sports skill and c) Generate spaces for groups to conform according to gender (male groups, female groups).

After the academic day, around 300 students, are part of the training of the BIS sports teams, who in the physical education academic classes, stand out for their skills, discipline and passion for sports. We have the following sports: Men's basketball, men's baseball, men's and women's soccer, women's artistic gymnastics, men's and women's softball; this space is intended for students in the elementary and high school sections.

The students who are part of the BIS sports teams represent an institution in local, regional and national tournaments. Being constant in occupying the first places in the competitions that we attend, leaving up the good name of our institution.

Our sports festival takes place at the end of January and the beginning of February, with the realization of the BIS GAMES in our sports venues and which has counted with schools from our Caribbean Coast and from different regions of our country, promoting healthy competition, through the CHARACTER COUNTS program.

The participating schools, not only represent an institution, but in each game they represent one of the pillars of CHARATER COUNTS promising before starting the game, the fulfillment of said value before the rival team and the public; At the end of the game, the coach of each school guides their students for the respective evaluation of whether or not the rival team fulfilled its commitment.
